Currently there is no method of exit on foot, bicycle or far more popular and of greater concern,a light vehicle.
None of the above can activate the weight sensor to exit.

I far prefer that this matter get handled immediately without having to inform the fire marshall, as it is illegal to not provide an exit.

Can you imagine that phone call? 'Oh sir, well over Four Thousand residents. Yeah, we have no way out if our vehicle isn't heavy enough. I guess we could try crashing through the gates, but would any of us live?'

And while certainly inconvenient to any person wanting to use a 'green' method of transportation, a tragic accident would be in everybodies worst interest.

I extend my gratitude in advance for handling this matter immediately. You have saved me countless time on Monday, February 20th trying to explain to the Orange County Sheriff's Department how such an oversight could have occured and to my knowledge has been a tragic oversight for at least five years. Then I'd spend who knows how long on hold as they contact the Fire Marshall. And none of that's going to fix a simple problem.
Install visual sensors. Change the weight compression value.
Since I just spent over an hour 'trapped' in the complex I know you will handle this today. If the problem is not solved by tonight, Sunday February 19th I am calling in a code violation.
    That's Orange County Construction/ Certificate of Occupany@ 714.375.9484.
The next time I'm 'trapped' in your complex I will use any means necessary to exit. And hold you responsible for my mental state.
